SUPER COMPETITIVE PRICING

The foundation of our success is our ability to offer an extremely competitive pricing structure whilst maintaining quality of service, across the nation.

Key features of our pricing policy:

PRICE BENEFITS

RAPID RESPONSE - FULL COMMUNICATION

Our emergency glazing service offers response times that are second-to-none and effectively managed through our unique national job tracking system. This purpose built, computer-based system enables us to monitor the status of all jobs at any stage.

The system incorporates satellite fed GPS technology, giving us control over workflow and keeping us fully informed of job-status. Data flows in from the field and new jobs can be allocated seamlessly to specific teams. This results in faster response times and more information for you, our clients. Efficiencies generated by this system also help us maintain our significant pricing edge over competitors, whilst improving quality.

Our production team manages the technology and is geared to your specific needs, ensuring rapid response and full information on job progress or completion.

The system represents a significant investment and has placed us at the cutting-edge when it comes to service and satisfaction.

QUALITY ASSURANCE - GUARANTEED

Our workmanship and all the products we use are fully guaranteed and conform to stringent Australian Standards.

Due to the relatively flat structure of our company, we have a streamlined reporting system that brings any delays to the attention of senior management, enabling a job to be given effective priority and resolution.

We monitor the quality of our service through systematic customer surveys. Our questionnaires examine critical service factors such as communication, punctuality, attitude & manner, through to the quality of the work performed and the clean-up afterwards [you can download our Client Satisfaction form].

ACCREDITED WITH INDUSTRY ASSOCIATIONS

Express Glass is fully accredited with the Australian Glass and Glazing Association [AGGA] and the New South Wales Glass and Glazing Association [NGGA]. Accreditation with these bodies is the recognised benchmark for the glazing industry, for companies that have established core competencies and reputable business practices.

We also take an active role in associated industry organisations, such as the Institute of Strata Title Management, of which we are a Silver Sponsor, and the Australian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters. Our work with these bodies extends from sponsorships through to hands-on roles, helping the associations to achieve their goals. We are also members of the Facility Management Association of Australia.

SAFETY STANDARDS

EXPRESS GLASS safety belts

COMPLIANCE AND FREE SAFETY CHECKS - Nothing highlights our approach to safety more than our offer of free safety checks to ensure that your property complies to the Australian Standards [AS1288]. Compliance is now a critical issue as recent legal rulings have indicated that all buildings need to comply to the current glazing standards, irrespective of when they were built.

Our free site surveys will let you know the status of the glass in your property and, if necessary, outline a program to bring it in line with current standards, thus ensuring that you meet your legal obligations and responsibilities.

Express Glass is an AGGA accredited installer. Our company has met the requirements of the AGGA accredited installer system, where glaziers are tested on their knowledge of AS 1288, enabling us to apply the AGGA's certification label to our glazing work.

Our glaziers also work to Australian Standards for manufacturing and wind loadings: AS 2208 and AS 1170, respectively, whether it's for emergency repairs or commercial projects undertaken by our Major Projects division.

OUR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY [OH&S] - We have taken the initiative to develop our own OH&S policy - due to the absence of an industry standard - to ensure the safety of our glaziers and the public during repairs in public spaces.

Building on the general Workcover OH&S standards for the construction industry, we have worked with an OH&S consulting firm and hold regular briefings with our glaziers to discuss the issues and concerns. We also ask our clients for feedback on safety issues, through our regular service questionnaires.

Our specially designed toolbelts are a practical example of our OH&S innovation. We developed the belts to ensure that gloves and gauntlets are always at hand - literally - for glaziers working on scaffolding, ladders or on high-rise buildings.

By talking to safety experts, our workforce and our clients, we are approaching the safety issue from all angles, enabling us to develop practical and user-friendly procedures that will be welcomed and implemented by our glaziers in the field.
